Ayerbe and Santiago Ramon y Cajal

A discussion about art and neuroscience is incomplete without Santiago Ramon y Cajal, who lived for several years in Ayerbe and whose stunning ink drawings of neurons form the foundation of neuroanatomy. Cajal trained as an artist but achieved fame as a neuroscientist, winning the Nobel Prize in 1906.

October 24th:

Raising OCD Awareness. The mental stimulant. Natalia Lewandowska. OCD is the fourth most common mental disorder and is diagnosed nearly as often as asthma and diabetes mellitus.
